# Roamer MCP

> Roamer MCP is an AI-native requirements and engineering assistant that enforces process, maintains truth, and keeps your engineering work coherent — without Jira tickets, stale docs, or hallucinated AI suggestions. It runs as a hosted MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that gives AI coding assistants a live, structured memory of a project.

## Install

Connect any MCP client to the hosted endpoint over HTTP:

That one connection gives every tool and workflow — on Claude Code, claude.ai (web and mobile), Claude Desktop, VS Code, Cursor and other MCP clients. There is no client ID, client secret, API key or local install to configure: the client registers itself (OAuth Dynamic Client Registration) and opens a Microsoft (Entra ID) sign-in. In Claude Code:

Optionally, on clients that support Claude Code plugins, the roamer plugin adds the same workflows as slash commands (/roamer:orient and so on); it connects to the same endpoint:

New accounts are provisioned automatically but currently need a one-time beta-access approval before tools become available.

## Pricing

Free: $0, a free allowance of 50 spec items and engineering threads, in total (current limit); it is a total, not a monthly limit, and if you use it up you keep what you've made and can upgrade to Pro to keep adding.
Pro: $20/month per seat, unlimited spec items and engineering threads. Billed monthly, cancel anytime. Solo developers and team members pay the same rate.
